SACHSENRING

EIGHTEEN DIFFERENT TRAINING AREAS

The Verkehrssicherheitszentrum Sachsenring is a unique combination of a modern road safety training center and a true racetrack. Among other events, it features the annual German motorcycle Grand Prix of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship.

The Verkehrssicherheitszentrum Sachsenring is located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal near Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany. Imbedded in the region’s gently rolling hills the 50 ha large area offers training tracks with lifelike conditions and the challenges of a selective racing circuit.

Eighteen different training areas, most irrigable, guarantee an optimal condition for a variety of training programs and premium events with vehicles of all kinds.

The 3.7 km long Grand Prix circuit can be divided into three separate circuits which offer different characteristics.

The generous pit lane area with 34 single pits as well as the start and finish tower with VIP lounge, race control and seminar rooms add a special flair to incentives and events.
